StationGuard Sensor is an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) that gives you the power to monitor Ethernet networks in the power grid and detect cyber threats, prohibited activities, and malfunctions. In Version 3.00, we’re making deployment and analysis easier than ever: from CSV import of assets and PCAP replay to full network communication visualization and direct hardware triggers for maintenance mode.

StationGuard GridOps 2.00 builds on this with major improvements in vulnerability matching, management, and dashboard clarity. Users of our vulnerability management system profit from a faster workflow, even more precise matching, and a reworked status-based exposure management.

StationGuard Sensor

New Features in Version 3.00

Visualize Entire Network Communication

See your communication flows like never before. The new Network Diagram View shows you protocol usage, services, node activity, and more — with direct links to your system model for immediate context.

Create New Devices via CSV Import

Prepare complete device setups ahead of time by importing asset data via CSV — including roles, MACs, IPs, and descriptions. Ideal for office preconfiguration before on-site deployment.

Replay PCAP Files

Investigate network traffic and alerts using recorded PCAPs. Data is processed in real-time to evaluate behavior against the communication baseline and detect deviations accurately.

Maintenance Mode via Binary Input

You can now start and stop maintenance mode on RBX1 devices via binary input. This enables external systems (like SCADA or OT terminals) to activate maintenance mode without accessing the UI.

Role Templates and Routed IP Visibility

The updated Device Role Template Library (DRTL) now includes common profiles for utility automation and SCADA devices. You’ll also see routed IP addresses per interface — as long as StationGuard monitors both sides of the traffic.

ZeroLine and Detection Engine Improvements

Focus analysis in the ZeroLine diagram by filtering alerts per device. The detection engine now supports OPC Classic, S7CommPlus, and can flag outdated cipher suites in encrypted traffic.

StationGuard GridOps

New Features in Version 2.00

Status-based Vulnerability Resolution

Track exposures and assign resolution statuses like “Mitigated,” “Risk accepted,” or “Not applicable.” Actions are transparent, timestamped, and manageable across multiple assets at once.

Improved Precision of Vulnerability Matching

We’ve added module-specific logic, CSAF relationship support, and better handling of naming conventions. The result: significantly fewer false positives and more accurate matching for vendors like Siemens, Schneider, Cisco, Hitachi, and more.

Real-time Sensor State Monitoring

Stay informed about your StationGuard Sensors in real time. See connection states and maintenance mode status directly in the dashboard and in the Sensor Management tab.

New Vulnerability Page

Explore vulnerability details, affected assets, and advisory documents in a dedicated page — with built-in exposure management and detailed resolution tracking.

Dashboard Upgrades and Performance Boost

Enjoy faster filtering and optimized visualizations, even in large environments. Event dashboards now include VLAN info and detailed protocol breakdowns for even better context.
